Southern Sky Adventures and Splicer Films are bringing the best of international adventures together with impactful content to share the value of students’ experiences abroad!
As part of the destination experiences, Southern Sky Adventures will film student group adventures and is partnering with Splicer Films to curate, edit and deliver cinematic documentary-style videos that capture the exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime immersive expedition!
Documentary-style add-on options are available for schools and individual students.
Option One: Group Experience Video
The group experience video includes a 10-minute short documentary of the group’s immersive travel experience demonstrating the participants' connections, enriching experiences, and immersive service activities. Schools may use this video to share with parents, educators, and students highlighting the community connections, cultural experiences, and personal reflections of their learnings and adventures!

Option Two: Individual Experience Documentary
The individual experience documentary includes a story representation of the student’s unique travel experience as they capture their exceptional adventures and embark on immersive service and learning activities. Students will film their memorable moments, then collaborate with Splicer Films professionals to storyboard a 5-minute short documentary after their trip. This is an opportunity for students to reflect on their personal growth and diverse experiences, building a college portfolio piece, and valuable keepsake to share with family, friends, and Teachers.
